At our Doreen dental practice, we customise all of our treatment plans based on your unique needs, overall health and dental health. We do not believe in one-size-fits-all dentistry. Our skilled dentists will present all of your treatment options, from the most conservative to the longest-lasting options, so you can make an appropriate choice for your smile.

Why Do I Need to Go to the Dentist If I Am Not in Pain?

Pain is not a good indicator of oral health. Often, by the time a dental emergency, including a toothache, occurs, the dental disease or infection is significant and may require more involved treatment to resolve.

How Often Do I Need to See My Dentist?

Dentistry is as personal as your medical care. How often you need to visit your general or family dentist depends on a number of factors:

  • How much dentistry you have had
  • Your gum and tooth health
  • Your age and medical needs
  • Your home care routine
  • Your dental comfort
  • How you feel about your smile’s appearance

Traditionally, twice-yearly visits are the standard recommendation. However, if you have gum disease or other concerns, we may recommend more frequent dental visits until your oral health improves.

Welcome to Doreen Dental Clinic

Even if it has been a while since your last visit to the dentist, we encourage you to arrange a booking for your next check-up and clean. If you feel a little anxious about dentistry, don’t worry. We never judge you and will focus on helping you regain your oral health and keep a happy, healthy smile for a lifetime.

Our expert dentists will also develop effective preventive treatment plans to keep your teeth and gums healthy. The best dentistry is the kind that helps you prevent dental emergencies and complex treatment in the future.

We will present your treatment plan and reduce any financial surprises so that you can plan for the future of your smile.

We understand that our patients want financial options to help them fit their necessary care into their budgets, so we provide many options, including SuperCare.

SuperCare helps you access early release of your super for necessary medical and dental treatments.

This option could be ideal in specific circumstances:

  1. You do not have relevant or enough private health fund insurance.
  2. You do not have sufficient personal resources.
  3. You have at least one family member with superannuation funds.

We can provide paperwork for you to access your superannuation, and a SuperCare representative can guide you through the process.

If you do not qualify for early super access, we offer a number of alternatives to help you fit your dentistry into your budget.
